The Sodhi Foundation Drives Excellence in Emergency Care
The Sodhi Foundation reaffirms its commitment to social transformation through strategic investment in the human capital of the health sector, consolidating its focus on high-impact education and applied research. Through our subsidiary in Colombia, Fundación Quintana, an advanced training program was successfully completed in the municipality of Remedios, Antioquia.
Specialized Training Initiative
The core activity consisted of rigorous training in the most recent guidelines for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS). The program was designed to elevate the quality of the medical response during critical emergencies, ensuring the optimization of hospital care protocols.
The training session was delivered by Fundación Salamandra – International Training Center, directly impacting 20 health professionals from the E.S.E. San Vicente de Paúl Hospital, including 18 doctors and 2 professional nurses.
Institutional and Community Impact
This investment goes beyond the mere transfer of knowledge; it represents a mechanism to strengthen the technical competencies of frontline personnel. The Sodhi Foundation maintains that strengthening institutional capacity is a fundamental pillar for the sustainable development of communities. By enhancing the preparation and skills of medical teams, we directly impact the safety, well-being, and quality of life for all residents of the municipality and its surrounding areas.
The Foundation will continue to promote programs that link academic research with practical education, aiming to generate systemic and lasting change in vulnerable communities.
