Early Childhood Education

The first years of a child’s life determine much of their cognitive, social, and emotional development. In many rural communities in Colombia and India, children reach school age without access to structured early learning. We are working to change that.

What we do

We operate early childhood education centres in underserved and remote communities in Colombia and India, where access to quality education is limited by poverty, lack of infrastructure, and a shortage of trained educators.

Foundational skills

Our curriculum emphasises literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking — the building blocks children need to succeed academically and in life.

Trained educators and safe environments

We provide training and resources for local educators to ensure that learning environments are safe, structured, and engaging for young children.

Community and family involvement

We work closely with parents, local leaders, and community organisations to ensure that our programmes are integrated into the communities they serve and supported beyond the classroom.

Where we operate

In Colombia, we operate through our subsidiary Fundación Quintana in the nordeste antioqueño region, in municipalities including Remedios, Segovia, and Yalí. In India, we run programmes in rural communities where early childhood education infrastructure remains limited.
