Vikram Sodhi is the Founder of the Sodhi Foundation, which advances long-term, institution-building philanthropy in research, education, and health.
The Foundation supports research into novel treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related neuropsychiatric disorders, including psychedelic-assisted therapies, and invests in early childhood education, economic empowerment, and community development initiatives in underserved regions of Colombia and India.

In 2026, he established the Vikram Sodhi Centre of Excellence for AI-Enabled Geological & Mining Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, extending the Foundation’s commitment to institution-building and applied research.

He graduated from Yale University, where he conducted neuroscience research at Yale School of Medicine, and is a Sterling Fellow. He is a member of Yale’s President’s Council on International Activities and is fluent in five languages, including Spanish and Portuguese.
Across more than two decades, Vikram Sodhi has pursued a coherent vision: building institutions that outlast individual projects. From responsible metals and mining to AI-enabled geological research, early childhood education, and neuropsychiatric innovation, his work reflects a conviction that long-term capital — whether financial or philanthropic — generates the most durable social returns. That thread connects his roles as investor, board director, and foundation chairman across Colombia, India, and North America.
