Vikram Sodhi
Founder and Chairman
Private investor and philanthropist with over 20 years of experience in leveraged buyouts, turnarounds, and growth investment strategies in metals and mining, affordable housing, and fintech sectors.
Mr. Sodhi is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Sun Valley Investments, a private metals and mining investment firm with an industry leading track record. He is also the Executive Chairman of Goldlogic Corp.
Vikram is also the Founder of the Sodhi Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to unlock novel medical treatments for PTSD and invests in early childhood education and economic empowerment initiatives in over 30 underserved communities in Colombia and India.
Mr. Sodhi has cofounded several private equity funds in the US, Latin America and India which have overseen over US $ 2 billion in metals, mining and affordable housing transactions and raised over US $ 1 billion of institutional capital from sovereign wealth funds, foundations, endowments and insurance companies.
Vikram is a graduate of Yale University where he received a full international scholarship and conducted neuroscience research at Yale Medical School. He serves on the Yale President’s Council on International Activities. He is also a Sterling Fellow at Yale University.
Vikram is fluent in five languages including Spanish and Portuguese.

His foundation work includes roles as a Mining Services Professional and Governance Professional, where he played a crucial role in updating and implementing governance and marketing strategies in multiple municipalities in Antioquia and Cauca. Additionally, Carlos has worked with the LiderX Association, supporting the formulation of projects with a social focus, and has collaborated with other foundations like Mi Sangre, contributing significantly to projects aimed at improving quality of life and promoting peace in communities affected by artisanal mining. His commitment to community development and sustainability is evident in all his projects.

In July 2020, Yuliza Estefania Betancur Palacio worked as a psychosocial professional in the “Buen Comienzo” family modality for one year and two months. At the San Rafael Hospital in Yolombó, she provided clinical psychological care. Later, she served as a psychologist with the Fan Foundation, leading a project called “Generación Explora” for seven months. Currently, she is a psycho-orientator at Centros ADN, a position she has held for one year and seven months.

Marlyn Yolima Sánchez Carmona began her career at ICBF as a community mother for 3 and a half years, followed by 8 years with Buen Comienzo, where she performed pedagogical, family, and administrative support functions. Currently, she is working as an orientation assistant at Centros ADN, applying the Kumon methodology in an educational program.
